— WHAT IS FREQUENCY METER CALIBRATION —
Think of a quality lab that relies on a frequency meter for daily measurements. Frequency Meter calibration means comparing its readings against a NABL-traceable certified reference standard at multiple test points, recording the deviations, adjusting where possible, and issuing an NABL certificate — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and all quality auditors.

Frequency meter received. Input type (voltage/TTL/pulse), frequency range, and connection mode documented.
NABL-traceable precision frequency generator (GPS-disciplined oscillator) connected at nominal input level.
Frequency calibrated at 5–10 setpoints spanning the range. For panel meters: 47–63 Hz. For bench counters: 1 Hz to 1 GHz across decade steps.
Input sensitivity and threshold levels verified at each frequency setpoint. TTL, CMOS, and AC voltage inputs tested separately.
Frequency error at each setpoint. Expanded uncertainty (k=2) per GUM. Certificate lists all tested frequencies.
