— WHAT IS PRESSURE SWITCH CALIBRATION —
Think of a quality lab that relies on a pressure switch for daily measurements. If it has drifted even slightly from its true value, every reading becomes unreliable — leading to defective products, failed audits, or safety risks. Regular calibration is the only way to confirm your instrument is telling the truth.
Pressure Switch calibration means comparing its readings against a NABL-traceable certified reference standard at multiple test points, recording the deviations, adjusting where possible, and issuing an NABL certificate — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and all quality auditors.
Compare readings against a NABL-traceable reference standard across the full measurement range.
Adjust or document deviations so your instrument reads within accepted tolerance.
Issue a NABL-accredited certificate (CC-2480) with full traceability documentation.

Electromechanical pressure switches with snap-action contact for process control.
Electronic pressure switches with IO-Link digital interface for smart factory.
Differential pressure switches for filter, flow, and level monitoring.
High-pressure safety switches for overpressure protection of equipment.
Field-adjustable pressure switches for variable setpoint applications.
Vacuum pressure switches for monitoring negative pressure systems.
— OUR PROCESS —
Pressure switch received, tagged. Type (electromechanical/electronic), set point, reset point (deadband), and rating documented.
Pressure slowly increased to trip point. Set point recorded from as-found pressure. Deadband (reset vs. set) measured.
Set point adjusted per calibration requirement using reference dead weight tester or reference pressure controller.
Pressure lowered from set point to find reset (deadband). Deadband checked against specification. Repeatability verified.
Post-adjustment set point and deadband confirmed at 3 consecutive trips. Expanded uncertainty (k=2) calculated. Pass/fail.
NABL CC-2480 certificate with as-found/as-left set point and deadband, uncertainty, IEC 61095/ISO 5171 traceability.

NABL Accreditation Standard
Prism holds NABL CC-2480 under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Pressure switch certificates accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GMP/FDA, IBR, PESO, and all audit purposes.
— NON-NABL CALIBRATION —
Routine maintenance calibration without NABL certification — same engineers, same dead weight tester, lower cost.
All calibrations traceable to NPL via dead weight tester — only certificate type differs.
Non-NABL pressure switch jobs faster — ideal for large bulk batches and routine maintenance.
Lower cost than NABL — right for utility switches, non-critical protection, and HVAC.
