— WHAT IS BRINELL HARDNESS TESTER CALIBRATION —
Think of a quality lab that relies on a brinell hardness tester for daily measurements. If it has drifted even slightly from its true value, every reading becomes unreliable — leading to defective products, failed audits, or safety risks. Regular calibration is the only way to confirm your instrument is telling the truth.
Brinell Hardness Tester calibration means comparing its readings against a NABL-traceable certified reference standard at multiple test points, recording the deviations, adjusting where possible, and issuing an NABL certificate — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and all quality auditors.
Compare readings against a NABL-traceable reference standard across the full measurement range.
Adjust or document deviations so your instrument reads within accepted tolerance.
Issue a NABL-accredited certificate (CC-2480) with full traceability documentation.

Manual Brinell hardness testers for heavy industrial components and castings.
Digital Brinell hardness testers with optical measurement and auto-calculation.
Portable Brinell hardness testers for in-situ testing of large components.
Certified Brinell reference blocks for tester calibration and verification.
— OUR PROCESS —
Tester received, tagged. Ball indenter, anvil, load mechanism, and optical reading system inspected for wear.
NPL-traceable Brinell reference blocks used to measure as-found deviation at two hardness levels.
Applied loads (187.5, 750, 3000 kgf etc.) measured with certified load cell. Deviations corrected per ISO 6506-2.
Measurement microscope or digital reader calibrated using certified stage micrometer to verify indentation diameter accuracy.
Post-adjustment readings on reference blocks at two hardness levels. Repeatability calculated from 3 consecutive indentations.
NABL CC-2480 certificate issued with as-found/as-left data, expanded uncertainty (k=2), ISO 6506 traceability.

Prism holds NABL CC-2480 under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Brinell hardness certificates accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and all foundry/casting quality audit bodies.
— NON-NABL CALIBRATION —
For routine plant maintenance or workshops not requiring NABL certification — same engineers, same reference blocks, lower cost.
All calibrations use NPL-traceable Brinell reference blocks — only the certificate type differs.
Non-NABL Brinell jobs completed faster — ideal for large batch foundry maintenance.
Lower cost than NABL — suited for workshop testers and non-critical material verification.
Portable verification tools to your foundry across Gujarat — same specialist team.
