NPL-traceable portable hardness reference blocks used to measure as-found deviation on the specified scale.
Impact device or UCI probe calibrated using reference blocks at two hardness levels. Slope and offset corrections applied as required.
Converted hardness values (HRC, HBW, HV from Leeb) verified against reference values to confirm conversion accuracy.
Post-correction readings on reference blocks. Repeatability of 5 consecutive readings calculated and documented.
