— WHAT IS OVEN & STABILITY CHAMBER CALIBRATION —
Think of a quality lab that relies on an oven & stability chamber for daily measurements. If it has drifted even slightly from its true value, every reading becomes unreliable — leading to defective products, failed audits, or safety risks. Regular calibration is the only way to confirm your instrument is telling the truth.
Oven & Stability Chamber calibration means comparing its readings against a NABL-traceable certified reference standard at multiple test points, recording the deviations, adjusting where possible, and issuing an NABL certificate — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and all quality auditors.
Compare readings against a NABL-traceable reference standard across the full measurement range.
Adjust or document deviations so your instrument reads within accepted tolerance.
Issue a NABL-accredited certificate (CC-2480) with full traceability documentation.
— INSTRUMENTS COVERED —
Lab Oven / Stability Chamber / Cold Room / ULT Freezer / Environmental Chamber · All Makes · ICH / WHO
Laboratory ovens for drying, sterilization, and high-temperature testing.
BOD incubators for biological oxygen demand testing at controlled temperatures.
Refrigerators and cold chambers for cold storage and cold temperature calibration.
Stability chambers for pharmaceutical ICH stability testing at controlled T and RH.
Environmental test chambers for combined temperature and humidity testing.
Walk-in cold rooms for large-scale cold storage and temperature uniformity testing.
— OUR PROCESS —
Chamber setpoint, chamber size, regulatory requirement (ICH, WHO, NADCAP, ISO) and number of sensor positions agreed. Sensor placement diagram prepared.
Calibrated PT100 or TC sensors placed at specified positions (corners, centre, near door, near fan). Sensor positions photographed and documented.
Chamber allowed to stabilize at setpoint for minimum 60 minutes. Stability confirmed via reference data logger before mapping window starts.
Simultaneous temperature data collected from all sensor positions over minimum 4 hours. Hot spot, cold spot, maximum spread documented.
Mean kinetic temperature (MKT) or min/max analysis performed per applicable standard. Worst-case sensor position identified for ongoing monitoring probe placement.
NABL CC-2480 calibration certificate with sensor data, layout map, uniformity analysis, and qualification summary issued.

NABL Accreditation Standard
Prism holds NABL CC-2480 under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Oven and stability chamber mapping reports accepted by CDSCO, USFDA, MHRA, WHO-cGMP, NABL-accredited labs, and ISO 9001 audit bodies.
— NON-NABL CALIBRATION —
For routine maintenance, bulk calibration, or internal QC checks where a full NABL certificate is not mandatory — Prism offers cost-effective non-NABL calibration using the same NABL-traceable reference standards and trained engineers.
All non-NABL work uses NABL-certified reference standards — readings are still reliable and defensible.
Without full NABL documentation, instruments return faster — ideal for urgent production schedules.
Non-NABL calibration costs less — practical for large batches or routine periodic checks.
Available at your facility or at our Vatva lab — same quality, more flexibility.
