— WHAT IS RTD & THERMOCOUPLE CALIBRATION —
Think of a quality lab that relies on a rtd & thermocouple for daily measurements. If it has drifted even slightly from its true value, every reading becomes unreliable — leading to defective products, failed audits, or safety risks. Regular calibration is the only way to confirm your instrument is telling the truth.
RTD & Thermocouple calibration means comparing its readings against a NABL-traceable certified reference standard at multiple test points, recording the deviations, adjusting where possible, and issuing an NABL certificate — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and all quality auditors.
Compare readings against a NABL-traceable reference standard across the full measurement range.
Adjust or document deviations so your instrument reads within accepted tolerance.
Issue a NABL-accredited certificate (CC-2480) with full traceability documentation.

— OUR PROCESS —
RTD/TC received. Type, wire configuration, connector type, and sheath material verified. Visual inspection for physical damage.
Sensor inserted in calibrated bath or furnace. Temperature stabilised to ±0.05°C at first setpoint before measurement.
Sensor measured against SPRT/STC reference at 5 to 7 temperature points spanning the full range in both ascending and descending order.
Deviation (error) at each calibration point calculated against IEC 60751 (RTD) or IEC 60584 (TC) tolerance tables.
As-found and as-left data recorded. Sensors outside tolerance flagged. Correction table generated if applicable.
NABL CC-2480 certificate with temperature values, deviations, uncertainty (k=2), IEC 60751/60584 traceability.

Prism holds NABL CC-2480 under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. RTD and thermocouple certificates accepted by WHO-cGMP, USFDA, IS/BIS, ISO 9001, and all pharma, food, and process industry audit bodies.
— NON-NABL CALIBRATION —
For routine maintenance, bulk calibration, or internal QC checks where a full NABL certificate is not mandatory — Prism offers cost-effective non-NABL calibration using the same NABL-traceable reference standards and trained engineers.
All non-NABL work uses NABL-certified reference standards — readings are still reliable and defensible.
Without full NABL documentation, instruments return faster — ideal for urgent production schedules.
Non-NABL calibration costs less — practical for large batches or routine periodic checks.
Available at your facility or at our Vatva lab — same quality, more flexibility.
— AREAS WE SERVICE —
Pick-up, calibration, and delivery of RTDs and thermocouples. Batch calibration with fast turnaround for large quantities.
Why Choose Prism
Since 2004, every NABL temperature certificate from Prism has been accepted by pharma, food, and process QMS auditors — no rejections.
