What Is a Dust Collector?
A dust collector is an air pollution control device that captures and removes particulate matter (dust, fumes, fibres, powders) from industrial exhaust streams before they are discharged to atmosphere. In Gujarat, dust collectors are mandatory for industries under GPCB regulation to meet SPM (Suspended Particulate Matter) norms.
E Industries manufactures three primary types: cyclone separators (for coarse dust >10µ), pulse-jet bag filter dust collectors (for fine dust 0.5–100µ), and cartridge dust collectors (for very fine dust in clean environments). Each type is engineered to your airflow volume, dust particle size, dust loading, temperature, and material properties.
